I Got Up

‘I Got Up’ is inspired by On Kawara’s conceptual postcards, rubberstamped with his time of getting up and mailed at the rate of two per day between 1968 and 1979.

The characters resemble those from Standardgraph letter stencils, based on DIN 1451 Mittelschrift Alternate, and this K-Type font simulates the slightly distressed appearance of Kawara’s stamping.
